I was lucky enough to be asked by Redfin to share my favorite design trend from 2020. The pandemic has had a major impact on how we live our day to day lives. And one place where we can see a lot of the change happening for ourselves is within our homes. From the way we work, to the way we exercise, to the way we recreate. Our homes have had to adapt in ways that we never thought possible resulting in some pretty unique trends in design and functionality both inside and out.

What was it in 2020 that didn’t work for you? What were the voids in your life? What were the things you enjoyed? And what are your intentions for 2021? Hopefully they don’t include any of the things that didn’t work for you last year and a lot more of the things that did! And hopefully they include some new and improved routines and methods that will really set you up to succeed in 2021.

Happy Holidays! Now that we are officially into the swing of the holiday season, I thought it would be fun to do a tour of all the Christmas decor throughout my house this year. Truth be told, I decorated a week before Thanksgiving (which is so early for me) because I was just really feeling in the holiday spirit!

So here we are, almost 10 weeks into quarantine and I still don’t really know how I feel about it. It’s funny because I remember the exact day that things changed. I’m opening up and getting real about how I really feel about this entire situation called quarantine.
