Meet, Jenna Maenhout — CEO and Principal Designer of Styled Out West.
Hailing from the sun-kissed shores of California, Jenna has always been drawn to the laid-back coastal lifestyle. At a young age, her family relocated to the Pacific Northwest, eventually settling in Gig Harbor, WA, a quaint coastal town she would later return to as an adult. After graduating from the University of Washington, Jenna spent years living in Seattle, building a career as an Associate Buyer for a corporate retailer. Today, she blends her business acumen, strategic expertise, and intuitive eye for design into every project.
Styled Out West began in 2017 as a lifestyle blog after the birth of her first daughter, when she decided not to return to corporate America. While renovating her own 1940s craftsman from the studs out and sharing the process with her growing online community, her audience began asking for design advice and project help. Their encouragement, paired with her own passion for creating intentional, beautiful spaces, inspired her to launch her interior design studio. Since then, Jenna has worked with countless clients to create functional, elevated homes that feel uniquely theirs.
After more than a decade of city living, Jenna and her husband felt the pull back to Gig Harbor for its slower pace, proximity to family, and the community charm they’d missed in the city. They recently found their dream property where their kids can roam freely and are now building a custom home—an experience that continues to shape Jenna’s thoughtful, family-focused approach to design.
Beyond design, Jenna is passionate about simplifying life and home (catch her personal tips on @JennaOutWest), traveling to new sunny destinations, indulging her coffee obsession, and spending time with her husband, Wes, and their two young daughters.
