Hello, from the Big Apple! I arrived on Friday and it’s been a whirlwind ever since! I had intended on writing and publishing this post before I left but I didn’t get around to it, so here I am now. I thought it may be fun to share how going to Fashion Week even came about since I got quite a few questions about it. When I first walked into our new space after it was framed I was shocked at not only how ENORMOUS if felt, but also how incredibly small the previous living/dining/kitchen area felt. Since our house was built in the 40's, it was a bit claustrophobic with only 7.5 feet ceilings and the living room closed off to the kitchen.

Yes, the weather is gorgeous that time of year, but that's also when the city comes to life for September New York Fashion Week! This is a semi-annual event, held in multiple locations, the largest being New York, Milan, London and Paris

As promised, I am sharing all my inspiration for our dream home remodel room by room and today is the Master Bedroom! This is one room I'm most excited for {let's be real, I'm excited for all of them} as I was never in love with our old bedroom.
