sweater weather.

It has been quite the interesting Summer here in the Pacific Northwest. Usually, the Summers here are so special because it's the bluest sky you can ever imagine. You can take a deep breath and smell the salt water and stay pretty cool knowing it doesn't usually break 80 degrees. Well, the past few months were quite the opposite. It was so hot here that we got the wrath of some pretty nasty fires in Canada and then in Eastern Washington, leaving us with temps well above 85 and smoke and haze for days. Some days it was so bad that you couldn't even see Mt. Rainer {which is normally visible from pretty much any area in Seattle or the South Sound}.

That being said, I am so looking forward to cooler temps and some much-needed rain to clear everything out. With these cooler temps comes the opportunity to finally wear sweaters again...my favorite! They are so cozy and easy to throw on over a simple tee shirt or dress. I'm loving all the rich colors for Fall like Burgundy, Mustard Yellow and this gorgeous Rust shade in this cardigan. Anyone else as ready for Fall as I am?!
